About

The RESINT Training Center was established by referendum ten years ago, following a lengthy political process. Voters returned a clear majority in favor, granting popular legitimacy to the Centre and establishing a clear legal framework for its foundation and supervision. During its first decade, RESINT focused on improving the country’s resilience to misinformation and online influence operations. This program supported the development of RESNET, a resilient communications network that can be activated in times of crisis.

Recently, legislation passed by the Federal Parliamen gave RESINT a mandate to support local authorities in addressing logistical hazards. Today, 780 Swiss volunteers have put their skills at the service of Switzerland, to support the country’s resilience. The RESINT Competence Centre at BLA (Base Logistique de l’Armée) in Sion (VS) is responsible for connecting the knowledge and expertise of these volunteers.

Our activities are compliant with current legislation and Swiss values (Army Law Article 101/275). RESINT does not participate in espionage or disinformation, and the centre’s activities are carried out with complete transparency open to public scrutiny.
